Coronavirus Update

Hi everyone! Just to reassure you that to protect the health and welfare of our young members; our volunteers and the surrounding community, we continue to carefully monitor official guidance from Public Health England and WSCC on coronavirus.

We aim to continue providing the members with their youth club but this will be subject to official advice and revised risk assessments. Can we ask for your co-operation and support with the following:- Please do not send your child to the club if they feel unwell, particularly if they display any symptoms such as a cough, fever or shortness of breath.

The Government advise to self-isolate for seven days if you experience a cough or temperature above 37.8 degrees. Or if they have recently returned from locations where the Government is recommending self isolation.

All members may be asked to wash their hands at other times during the evening. If your child has been diagnosed with coronavirus, or been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus, please do not send them to The Escape Youth Club.

If anyone that they have been in contact with or know someone who has been in contact with, is diagnosed with coronavirus, we would be grateful if you could notify one of the committee in confidence, so that we can follow the recommended public health advice as this is a WSCC Building and it has other users. In the event that your child’s school is closed due to an outbreak, or suspected outbreak, please do not send them to The Escape Youth Club. In the event we are asked to close by WSCC at any point we will communicate with you by email through Membermojo or any of our social media sites and aim to regularly update with any significant changes. The health and safety of our young people and adult volunteers is paramount. We are very mindful of our duty of care to your children and will do our best to encourage good hygiene; to ensure our activity risk assessments include mitigation of any potential spread of coronavirus; and to keep you informed of any changes. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us if you have additional queries or concerns.
